Nearly everyone just left to board an eastbound train. Only the old man with his book remains. He stands now in the middle of the terminal, swaying a bit as he reads.
He seems to be waiting for someone.
Wait – now he too has left for the train.
A few minutes have passed – he returns with a man and a woman, both older still. The second man is likewise dressed in a black overcoat, and wears a black, broadrimed hat. They speak in Hebrew.
Others from the train just arrived pass through. All is abustle for a few minutes as they pick up their luggage.
And now they’re all gone.
So passes the time.
